“Planning this party for my Marley actually started way back in April of this year before the sequel of the first Kung Fu Panda movie even came out.  Last year we had a sweet shoppe party for Marley because she was really just the sweetest baby ever.  Well, in year 2, she has turned into a true spitfire with tons of spunk!  So it hit me to do a Kung Fu Panda party for her, but of course with a twist.  My challenge was how I could make this party fit for a little girl because the theme traditionally seems a bit boyish!  Changing up the colors did just that!   The invitation was the starting point for the party and I wanted it be Kung Fu Panda but different, so adding the hot pink pagoda is where it started and went from there.  I love pink and green, so I added a touch of black to complete the color palette.  A little glitter to the pagoda was the finishing touch.

This lovely event was a baby shower for a client who is in love with all things from the traditional Alice in Wonderland movie.  We focused on the tea party  and went with a vintage feel. 

The owner of Dollin It Up Salon and Spa contacted us about providing services to plan her daughter’s 5th birthday party her instructions were, “it must be special and it must be grand!” Dollin It Up Spa is located in Lorton, Virginia and is just the cutest little spa you could ever think of for little girl parties but we had to make Miss Kennedy’s party stand out from the rest! I think we accomplished that goal!

I have been planning my daughter’s birthday party since February. After watching Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, I fell in love with the theme. I designed everything from the invitation to the decorations and many of the desserts. We hired a magician to entertain 23 kids and it was a big hit! The best part of the party was watching with excitement how much my little girl enjoyed her party!

This was a fabulous baby shower that I styled for a good friend that is pregnant with twin boys. We came up with the concept of Peace, Love & Babies. It was very hippy and super cool!
