Traveling is a passion of mine, and I hope to share that passion with my son someday. The National Geographic map on his wall was the building block and inspiration for the room, with its muted greys, beiges, and blues. I imagined bedtime being a learning experience... every night exploring a new country and diving into its culture. The white wrought iron crib and changing table by Bratt Decor added a vintage and traditional look, accented with crisp white linens. I repurposed a family bookshelf/desk by painting it white and giving it pops of color with the classic children’s books on display. The Restoration Hardware vintage airplane mobile tied it all together. My advice, when designing such an important room, is to use your heart. Find something you feel passionate about and build the room around it. Spread your wings, little boy.
