A Room for Lauren

Description

I am a first time mom and this is my first attempt at nursery design.  I wanted a soothing place for my little girl and my family.  I loved the yellow and grey pallet and found it feminine without being too girly.

Design Inspiration

I first found the bedding and used that as a jumping off point.  From there I wanted to mix the grey and white furniture.  I wanted a room that she could grow into over the years.

Decorating Style

A mix of high end and bargain pieces.  We splurged on a few items like the chair and crib and then found some great stuff at Ikea and Homegoods.

Advice

Have fun and decorate how you like.  Find your inspiration piece and build the room off of that.

This room is stunning!!! I am obsessed with your chair. What is the name of it? I really would like to buy that exact one. I cannot find a gray chair anywhere! Thanks so much!

This is such a pretty nursery for a girl. And your octagon mirror is lovely.
