Keeping the gender a surprise meant having a space that was gender neutral and welcoming for a boy, or a girl. We wanted something functional, bright, fun, yet comfortable. Staying on budget was a huge deal, as it is for most new parents, so we reused what we could from our first babes nursery and revamped old pieces.
