Griffin’s First Birthday

A backyard barbecue for a very special one year old.

Design Inspiration

I used several parties on PN as inspiration, specifically the orange and white backyard barbecue. I just added aqua and green as additional colors. 

Decorating Style

Modern with a flair of frilly! ;)

Project Details

I made children's music CDs as party favors for all the kids. I think it's so important that kids listen to music they understand so I picked out our favorites for everyone to enjoy.

I also upcycled all our old baby food jars into little candles for the adults. 

Favorite Items

My favorite detail of the party was a tie between my dessert table and the photo booth. Both were a huge hit. 

Advice

I'm a big believer in dollar stores. I bought so many things for the party there from the prop glasses for the photo booth to the balloons.
