Description
Our daughter's playroom, acts as both playroom and home office and is located inbetween our kitchen, living room and dining room. We needed to make it a room that we wanted to spend a lot of time in, but also a polished room guests could be in as well. It needed to flow with our transitional decor of our other rooms downstairs.
Design Inspiration
My inspiration was modern white with bright colors and some chalkboards accents. I also wanted some elements of nature and whimsical touches fit for a princess!
Decorating Style

Favorite Items
The bench from Joss and Main I love, because it gets a lot of use and fit perfectly in the room. By far my most favorite piece was a cloud light fixture which changes colors with a remote, purchased in the 80's by the designer of the piano in the movie "Big".
Advice
HomeGoods and Ikea have incredible modern pieces for a fraction of the price. You want to do a playroom on a budget and I think you know why! :)
