Not Hooks, magnets make hanging easier!
I needed a way for my kids to easily hang up their things as hooks are tough for little folks!

First birthday with a airy white indian theme. This party included tons of white, gold, and mint. Also contained arrows, feathers, chalkboards, pinata, and teepee.
My little nephew was born just one month ago and I got a job… Decorating his Nursery Room.
My sister (the baby’s mom) is really picky. So, I’m glad she choose me to help her, it means she trust me for something it’s really important to her.
We travel to so many cities looking for furniture, fabrics and all the stuff we needed. Thankfully, now I know almost all the California State. Also I bought some fabrics in Mexico. Drapes, bedding and almost all the fabric stuff is custom made by me. I did install everything, from lighting to shelving, etc.
The Bassinet was custom made as well. We made it taller and add a canopy holder (Search for Instructions Click Here).
I knitted a Crochet Crown for the Prince Picture (Search for Instructions Click Here).
I put all the things together and I fell in love. I took the pictures and decided to share.
Thanks to Family and Friends who gifted my nephew little things to decorate and make it more beautiful.
Do you think that I would be a good Interior Designer?
I wanted to create a playful, fun, yet sophisticated room for our son.
A contemporary, clean and full of nature nursery for our baby boy who is on his way.
I designed this nursery for my daughter Emerson Charlotte. I have never been a fan of pink, so when I found out we were having a girl, I was determined to design a room for her that would be clean, modern, and a non-traditional shade of blue. I also wanted to incorporate a daybed so that we would still have a place for out-of-town guests. Later on, the daybed will be her big girl bed. I also love that the walls and furniture are neutral so they can grow with her and combine with other colors later on.
Originally I had envisioned a modern chic-nursery in teal and yellow, but fell in love with this crib (not at all modern) and decided on a completely different style for this nursery.
When I was pregnant, I would always be on the lookout for things that would work for in the nursery. Sometimes, I would just buy things because I loved it, not because it would match – you’ll notice I use tons of prints and patterns. If you knew me, you would know me as a collector of vintage! My mother-in-law is a perfect example of this, she purchased from flea markets/antique stores, etc. some of the beautiful vintage things including the ceramic shoes, cream hanger hook, and wooden gold floral piece in the corner. Three of the frames and art on the gallery wall are also vintage, two of which I painted in gold glitter.
I knew pink would be perfect for this vintage-glam theme, but my husband didn’t want a bubblegum pink and so we decided on this pretty peach.
As some might think this small room seems a bit cluttered and too small for all that’s in it, Huntley just loves taking tours around her room with so much to see and touch!
This is my first child and my husband and I had a deal that if it was a girl, I could pick out the entire nursery. If it was a boy, he could pick out the theme of the nursery. Obviously, I won and immediately knew I didn’t want a specific “theme” to the room, but an overall feeling of happiness when you walked in.
I usually stick to a theme, but this time (the 4th nursery I’ve designed for my own kids), I decided to add any and all colors that caught my eye and pieces that I gravitated towards. There’s a hint of a theme in the sun, clouds and rain pieces – “you are my sunshine”, but it’s mostly reminiscent of favorites, including all of my favorite children’s books, favorite art that my older children made for me and the baby and my favorite colors.
Living in a historic home in Alexandria, this couple wanted to combine their love of french prints with the historic colors in their home. We chose a blue and yellow toile, accented it with a small french blue check, and finished with a monogrammed baby sham.
I didn’t like the idea of having a nursery that didn’t match the rest of our home. Although it’s not your typical nursery, it works for us!
When we found out we were expecting for the second time, we were so excited to create a nursery space. It is a small room so we had to maximize every where we could. Instead of a changing table, we converted the closet to the changing area with hidden storage inside. We used a bookshelf my grandfather made and stocked it with all things baby and books. A few DIY projects like the side table and the wall art made this room complete.
my husband and i came up with the design of this daybed for our 3yr old daughter. We searched high and low for a daybed that was elegant for her to enjoy to her teen years and we were unsuccessful. We decided to build it ourselves.
We were expecting our first child, a baby girl, in January. The nursery began when we found a vintage dining room hutch that seemed perfect for a changing table. I also loved gold polka dots and used them a lot throughout the nursery to create a cohesive feel. I wanted the nursery to feel collected and curated.
A modern, but cozy nursery for our second baby boy, due June 2013
My latest obsession with the colors coral and gold won in my recent room re-design for my daughter, Ashlyn. Repainting old furniture (how fabulous is that headboard), and new bedding from Caden Lane, all came together in the perfect big girl room that can grow with her for years to come.
We wanted to create a calm, cozy and whimsical space with natural elements and steer away from primary coloured dancing animals!
Our project started out a little rough, our house was built in the 1880s, yes that’s right…over 130 years old! When we moved in, the previous owners had put barn wood on all the walls in this particular bedroom…I love the rustic look, but not in a Victorian age home. Anyways, when we went to tear the wood down, all the plaster came with. So our project turned from a simple paint job, to a complete remodel. But in the end, we love it that much more, and were really able to utilize the space better by choosing the layout.
The nursery was originally designed and created as a gender neutral nursery. My husband and I chose to not find out the gender of our baby and really enjoyed the surprise. Once our baby boy arrived we added a few personal touches to make the nursery even more perfect for baby Adler.
This was my daughter’s first toddler party (not exactly her birthday party) and because it was in November we stuck to the Winter ONEderland theme. I have always been inspired by my sister-in-law who holds one or two parties each year for her kids and their friends exclusively and she goes all-out in them too. The party was exclusively for kids, mums and aunts partly because our place wasn’t big enough to accommodate all the men that came in the same package and partly because I thought this was turning out to be quite a girly event. I must confess too – I never got around to having a baby shower so a lot of the decoration ideas were on my wish-list since the time I was pregnant and wishing for a surprise baby shower :D
