Description
my husband and i came up with the design of this daybed for our 3yr old daughter. We searched high and low for a daybed that was elegant for her to enjoy to her teen years and we were unsuccessful. We decided to build it ourselves.
Design Inspiration
I came to the decision on a daybed because i couldn't find a twin bed that gave the room the statement i wanted. So i decided on a daybed, the headboard along the back is the same size as a king size mattress. I love french antiques so the detail work id very much french inspired.The upholstery on the 3 sides give it a bit of a contemporary modern feel and is also comfortable to lay against for story time.
