My little nephew was born just one month ago and I got a job… Decorating his Nursery Room.
My sister (the baby’s mom) is really picky. So, I’m glad she choose me to help her, it means she trust me for something it’s really important to her.
We travel to so many cities looking for furniture, fabrics and all the stuff we needed. Thankfully, now I know almost all the California State. Also I bought some fabrics in Mexico. Drapes, bedding and almost all the fabric stuff is custom made by me. I did install everything, from lighting to shelving, etc.
The Bassinet was custom made as well. We made it taller and add a canopy holder (Search for Instructions Click Here).
I knitted a Crochet Crown for the Prince Picture (Search for Instructions Click Here).
I put all the things together and I fell in love. I took the pictures and decided to share.
Thanks to Family and Friends who gifted my nephew little things to decorate and make it more beautiful.

I wish I could have the time to make everything that I imagine. My mind never stops. I born as a creative person a few years ago. From Guasave, Mexico. Living part time in Orange County, CA.
I'm a Fashion Designer most all the time. But I'm like a handyman, doing almost everything which involves hands and creativity. Crazy about fixing things, when something is broke, immediately I'm looking for glue.
I like to design clothes, mostly for little girls. I love to sew. Recently involved on Interior Design. I also like photography.

Beautiful! So soft and serene, elegant and classic! You did a great job on the linens….and yes!….you would make a good interior designer. You sound like me….I also like to sew and I make crib bedding and love to decorate. It looks like a room fit for a Prince! I gave you five stars but it says 4.6…I don’t know what is up with that!

Maya, you did a amazing job on this elegant nursery. Truthfully, this is one of the loveliest nurseries I have ever seen for a little boy. I am sure your sister is delighted with the results. You have a wonderful gift, a great eye for design and should definitely pursue your interest in this career. There is a design channel based out of Knoxville, Tenn. on television on the east coast that host several
