We wanted to make Avery’s nursery girly, but not overly pink. We stuck with mainly neutral colors. Once our little one is born, we plan on hanging 3 canvas’s of her above the dresser. Also, inside the turquoise shadow-box, we will place her going-home outfit and hospital ID bracelet
This is the space that I envisioned for our daughter Layla’s peach nursery. I started thinking about it even before I knew she was a girl! Once we found out we were having a girl for sure, my ideas really started to spiral from there!

This nursery is for my daughter, London. I was excited to learn I was having a girl and so was my husband. His only concern was if everything had to be pink. I said no, and so I found a way to have the primary color be aqua and accessories pink and grey.

Avalynn’s nursery is a girly blend of vintage chic meets modern timelessness. I strove to create a space that, not only defined my taste but that I also felt our little girl would be able to grow with. Neutral creams, whites and browns are highlighted with pops of muted colors, like earthy greens and pale pinks. We accented the color scheme with hints of gold and silver for a classy touch.
A gifted Pottery Barn quilt with sweet, little stitched lambs and the perfect baby shower gift of some of my very own Little Golden Books from Ava’s aunt aided in our decision to lightly theme the nursery with off-white lambs and vintage books.
I wanted a calm and peaceful escape where I could nurture our baby girl. As I planned each aspect of our nursery, I imagined a room that I wanted Avalynn to grow in. I envisioned the late night feedings, the early morning snuggles and all of the in between. I strongly felt that the most important aspect of planning her nursery was to stay true to my own style and to incorporate very personal touches.

When I first created Arwens nursery, I wasn’t sure who she was going to be. After spending 15 months with her, I’ve realized her love of nature. I decided to transform her room to offer her a place that made her happy. She loves pointing to the tree and telling me what it is (twee is what she can say) and the closet turned book nook is her favorite spot in the room.
For me, the nursery planning started the moment when I found out this little bean, my third after having two boys, was a girl! I had ooo’d and aww’d over many a baby girl nursery before but never thought i’d be decorating one of my own one day. In my mind, I was always destined to have 3 boys!
I knew right off the bat I wanted purple and turquoise, and I new I wanted chevron and polka dots… so I headed straight to Etsy for inspiration. Most people head to pinterest, I know I know, I’m just an Etsy girl.
I thought starting with the perfect bedding would be a good place to start and after endlessly searching I could not find a set that had everything I was looking for to save my life. Hmph. So I had to switch gears, I had to think outside of the box.. I went to a fabric site instead. After a lot of trial and error I finally came up with an inspiration board of fabrics that I knew I would love…. and the rest fell into place with the help of some seriously knock-your-socks-off vendors, a few fun DIY projects, and a lot of love <3
A sophisticated, yet soothing nursery for our second daughter. Early on, I chose a color palette of Mustard, Lavender and Gray. It was a fresh combination for a sweet girl’s nursery.
We knew that we wanted to have a classic nursery that would fit for a boy and a girl, but we also wanted it to be a welcoming, bright, loving room. We started with our budget and worked to find or make each item so that it would fit within our budget. We love this room because it has the perfect combination of DIY touches and other classic accessories.
I’ve been waiting for an excuse to use the fabric from Kate Spade’s Candy Stripe shower curtain, but nothing felt quite right in our home until I found out I was expecting a daughter. It was important that the tiny room felt airy, clean, and feminine but not too flouncy – she has two older brothers to keep up with so a fun edge was a must!
This nursery for Asha was designed before she was born but still is a work in progress. I need to put her name, initials and some pictures in the room. I love the color combination of grey, white and pink. I think this nursery is fantastic!
Pink and Gray nursery for a baby girl.
I spent a lot of time imagining the perfect space for my little baby girl. I wanted something soothing but colorful and fun. I knew I’d be spending a lot of time in the nursery in the coming months! While I was pregnant I did everything from the painting to woodworking projects with my dad to make the space special. It turned out just how I imagined and I love playing with baby Annabelle in the room every morning!
