Up, Up and Away, Addison!

Description

When I found out I was having a baby girl, I knew I wanted a fun nursery that wasn't too girly.  So after a lot of time spent on Pinterest, I went with aqua, coral and gray for the colors to give it a fun, modern vibe but still be girly and cute.

Design Inspiration

Once I decided on the colors of aqua, coral and gray, I wanted a theme that would reflect a whimsical, travel vibe.  I thought hot air balloons did just that.  After those two things were decided, everything else fell into place.

Decorating Style

My design style is clean but with fun pops of color, especially for a nursery.  I loved mixing patterns and seeing it all come together.

I think this is lovely and simple. I was a bit surprised when I pinned this that "girl nursery' auto populated the description as this seems very gender neutral to me (and I picked it as an idea for our son's room!)

I like the neutrals with pops of bright red scattered all over.
