Amelia’s pink, coral and yellow You Are My Sunshine themed nursery is reminiscent of my own childhood. I found and redid a dresser that matched my dresser from my childhood bedroom and the vintage Golden books are from my own childhood library.

We opted for more of an anti-baby shower, baby shower – just a fun co-ed party without a whole lot of games (I’m not a fan of the “guess how fat my belly has gotten” game). I loved that my parents made sure that the party was as eco-friendly as possible (potted flowers for centerpieces, reusable trail mix bags for favors, etc).
