Ava’s Vintage Pink, Gold and Ivory Nursery

Shortly after finding out we were expecting I saw a soft pink dresser with adorable gold hardware and had to buy it. I hadn’t even thought of the nursery yet but right then I decided I would get the dresser and design around it. I love the softness of the pinks and ivory and the pop of gold was fun to work in. I also wanted to tie in our love of rescue animals so we had a few pictures done

Norah Ashley’s Woodland Forest Nursery

A perfect woodland forest nursery for Norah to let her imagination run wild. The wallpaper creates the woods feel, the wooden planked wall to soften, the pendant tree lights to give the idea she is surrounded by nature. Bunnies freely flying above her head, a deer clock ticking her to sleep, a bird house lighting up the dark night. What a magical place to sit, feed and sleep in.

Georgia’s Pink, Blue and Gold Nursery

I love the contrast of the colors pink and blue. I wanted something a little non traditional when you think of a girl’s nursery. Playing with paint colors and pops of colors  I decided on blue, pink and gold. We painted the walls Thundering Clouds by Valspar. From there, I went off a piece of artwork that was created by Shenasi Concept on Etsy. I fell in love with her ballerina artworks and decided this would be the focal/theme. I kept the furniture simple white by Pottery Barn Kids – Kendall Crib, Changing table and Glider.

Kitschy Camper Trailer Birthday Party

On Saturday we celebrated Samantha’s first birthday! I decided on a kitschy camper trailer theme because it just so adventurous and fun-loving, which reminds me a lot of Sammie’s personality. She is an extremely adventurous, curious and happy baby. I cant thank my dad (best dad ever) enough for turning my idea of a mini camper trailer prop into an actual camper trailer playhouse, it is the coolest playhouse ever, and the kids, especially Samantha loved it! I also need to thank Veronica Luna of Luna Cakes for the amazing camper cake and cookies, she never fails to amaze me.

Pink Delight Nursery

I wanted to keep her nursery light fresh and airy.  By keeping the paint really soft with ‘ Pure Pink’ by Dulux.  Adding wainscotting for some visual interest and soft star wall decals for that extra something,   Incorporating light weight fabrics with contrast of rustic accents. Starting with the bones of the room and working yourself up with furniture and accessories.

Cruz’s Vintage Baseball Nursery

When we first learned we were pregnant, my hubby and I made an agreement: I it’s a girl I get a chandelier – if it’s a boy he gets a baseball theme. Since I myself am not much of a sports fan, I had to get creative. I wanted a room that would make my sports fanatic hubby happy, but something I could enjoy as well – so I decided to go with a “Vintage” baseball theme.

Girly Superhero Birthday Party!

My baby girl who just turned three wanted a Super hero birthday party. She wanted a red cape and a cake with a supergirl figurine in it. I was SO excited when she finally decided on the theme. She did change her mind a few times before settling into this theme but I was so glad this is what she chose. I do like girly girl stuff to some extent but I really prefer modern and clean design elements. Also I wanted to stay away from the typical comic book design so went along with a teal, fushia, blue and white color scheme.
