A perfect woodland forest nursery for Norah to let her imagination run wild. The wallpaper creates the woods feel, the wooden planked wall to soften, the pendant tree lights to give the idea she is surrounded by nature. Bunnies freely flying above her head, a deer clock ticking her to sleep, a bird house lighting up the dark night. What a magical place to sit, feed and sleep in.
The wooden letter and the bunny mobile is what inspired me.
Budget, Do it yourself and modern.
Most items in the room are DIY.
The wooden wall is thin vinyl planks from local hardware store that are self adhesive. Peel and stick. Easy!
Wooden door knobs are from the backyard, cut, coated and screwed in to make adorable door and cupboard knobs. Adding to the personality of the room.
Rocking chair is an Ikea hack. Australia lacks rocking chairs severely.
Bunny mobile was hand made. Etsy do have some sellers of similar items.
The 'N' was made out of wooden pallets as the frame and left over wooden vinyl planks from the wall. The vinyl meant it is light to hang.
Pendants were lamp shades from curbside and decorated.
The Scarlet dresser is from Incy Interiors, I also have the Jemimah cot in there to compliment. (Must upload photo of this)
The rope change mat. Another DIY - (took me hours and 8 sewing needles broke!)
The Bunny Mobile - just so adorable
Start searching early. I print out my inspiration and pin it to a real life pin board! Seeing it constantly helps me narrow down the items I love. Having a picture of the board on my phone helps me find cheap items in store. Lots and lots of hunting to find the cheapest way to create.
