Liv’s Coral, Green, Navy and Safari Nursery

Description

I wanted to create a light, bright, colorful and whimsical safari theme space for our second daughter's nursery.  I love bold patterns and color.

Design Inspiration

When we moved into our house in 2014, before I was pregnant, I painted this room with Benjamin Moore's Castleton Mist.  I love the color so much, that when it came time to convert this room to a nursery, I kept the color and that was my starting point.  That, and the furniture from my first daughter's nursery that I wanted to re-use while still creating a unique and different space.  I love design, but I love to be frugal and practical, too!

Decorating Style

I love color and patterns, but also simple and clean designs.  I like spaces to feel light, bright and cheerful.

Favorite Items

I love the dresser.  It was only $100 from Craigslist and with some paint, it turned out beautifully.

Advice

Don't be afraid to mix and match styles and colors and work with what you have.  You don't have to buy everything new, expensive or custom to create a beautiful, personalized space.
