Liza Riguerra offers interior design services to residents of the San Francisco Bay Area. She serves on the board of the Textile Arts Council and was formerly on the board of RoomsThatRock4Chemo, a non-profit that collaborates with interior designers, volunteers, and local vendors to transform chemotherapy treatment rooms into beautiful, tranquil spaces.

Monkey-Themed Nursery

For this sophisticated nursery, Liza chose a refined color palette of yellow, white and blue, and anchored the room with a diamond patterned, natural-colored wool carpet. She incorporated two eye-catching showpieces – for a touch of whimsy, hand-painted monkey-themed wallpaper accents one of the walls, and for a touch of elegance, a canopy made from yellow checkerboard fabric frames the crib. A traditional-style convertible crib and coordinating 5-drawer armoire complete the look.
