Lennon’s “Go Pink or Go Home” Nursery

I’m so excited to share my sweet Lenni girls nursery with you! When I first learnt that I was expecting a baby girl I was over the moon — one, because I finally get a forever princess and two, because I get to decorate a nursery for a girl!! I always said I’d have a neutral nursery no matter what the gender was, but as my pregnancy progressed and I started putting my vision boards together I gravitated more and more towards pinks. I decided to embrace the fact that I was having a girl and that I did I’m fact love pink!
First up was choosing the wallpaper for the accent wall — I wanted something fun and girly and something I wouldn’t get sick of. I also knew I wanted to put her name on the same wall so I needed something less busy. From there I added texture, with things like the suede mirror, feathery lamp, knitted ottoman and shaggy rug. At this point I was all in for the “girly” things — I found the most perfect gold bow knobs for the dresser and a hot pink (and white) dog for the side table. Then it was all about the added details. Styling the shelves was hard but I took my time to find the perfect pieces. Overall, I’m soooo happy with how the nursery turned out. It’s officially my favourite room in the house!
