Hot air balloon mobile

My vision for this nursery was travel & adventure which I captured with a funky “hiding tigers” statement wall, exotic stuffed animals, a cowhide rug, a hot air balloon harlequin, and several other fun nods to travel. The project was initially inspired by the cowhide rug which I already owned and loved, so I knew I wanted to make the theme work around that. I began building upon the rug with the Moroccan leather pouf and other touches of leather included in the window seat. From there I had a blast choosing all the other accent pieces that tie the theme together!

This dreamland odyssey nursery a colorful and whimsical room for a baby boy. It has many outdoor elements and non-motorized transportation items. It has many nautical items but is really about far off dreamlike places. For more information read the behind the scenes blog.

My husband and I are having our first baby in October.  We just moved into a new house, giving us a blank canvas on which to build the perfect nursery for our new baby girl, Charlotte Cecile.

I started collecting ideas for a travel-themed nursery well before I found out that I was pregnant. My husband and I both love to travel and can’t wait to share our adventures with our children someday. We had a great time selecting the items for the room and putting everything together. Hopefully, this room will inspire our little girl to go out and see the world!

A soft pink nursery with an elegant, enchanting, and tranquil feel with vintage inspired touches throughout. I wanted a place where Anna’s imagination could soar, and she could dream.

We have a tiny, rented space for our soon-to-be-arriving little one, and will be moving soon and leaving furniture behind. But I could not let go of my visions of a fabulous nursery, so on a tight budget have pulled together what I think is a playful, modern, gender-neutral nursery, bursting with color!
