Sarah really has some refreshing ideas here and on her site. I also like how she takes classic color combinations like blue and orange and create something new. Sophisticated and bold, yet the clean lines are evident. The ceiling, Jane, is wallpapered :) I guess you just need to find a great wallpaper to cover your ceiling.

Hi Melisa: I couldn't figure out what she did to the ceiling in that first picture. It's rare that you see that kind of treatment to ceilings, and it's beautiful!

I love the new trend in modern nursery looks! I'm getting ready to decorate my boy's nursery and I want to do something sophisticated like this, but with more dramatic lighting. I recently found a lot of great modern and vintage chandeliers from AnnaBean and I think pairing a vintage lighting piece in a clean, sophisticated nursery would create a unique textured look in the room.
