Description
We wanted a unisex nursery, but wanted the colors to be unique. With three navy walls and one gray wall, we made a nursery that is modern and fun. We have dachshunds and Bernese Mountain dogs, and we incorporated them into the decor. The dachshund chair was bought long before we were pregnant and we planned the nursery around it.
Design Inspiration
The dachshund chair was the original inspiration. We found several yellow and black nurseries online that we likes but ultimately couldn't make that color scheme go with the chair. So, we played around until we decided on navy and gray.
Decorating Style
We like clean lines and minimal decor. There is nothing in this room that we don't either need or just absolutely love.
Project Details
All the furniture is from Pottery Barn Kids. The bedding was custom made by Carousel Designs. The rug came from Hayneedle after a 3-month search. The mobile was custom made by a friend who is on Facebook under Needle Felted Animals. The decal is from Rosenberry Rooms. All the baskets are from Pottery Barn Kids. The dachshund chair was a one of a kind purchased at Greenfront in Farmville, VA.
