KatieAnn’s Gender Reveal Party!

Description

My husband and I hosted a Gender Reveal party for our baby girl!

Design Inspiration

I used the book "Make Way for Ducklings" for inspiration.

Decorating Style

Bright and refreshing.

Project Details

I've created a list of all the decoration info on my blog, http://www.littlefashiondiary.com/katieann-maries-gender-reveal-party/

Favorite Items

Definitely the books that were given to KatieAnn by guests. I asked my guests to write a letter to KatieAnn on the inside cover explaining why they chose the book for her.  When they come to visit KatieAnn in the future, they will have "their book" to read to her!

Advice

I tried my best not to over-do the "baby duck theme".  By creating a party that didn't obsess over everything baby, it saved me money because I could use things I already owned or found relating my theme to create the perfect gender reveal!

I love how you put the drinks in baby bottles. And how cute those cookies look. I'm a bit partial with the "Make Way for Ducklings" book since we live near Boston & love their little replica statues. If you haven't been there to see them, it's quite cute. And makes for the perfect photo op. -Melissa

What I like about this party is that you used soft and very light-shaded colors. And the natural light coming in from the glass doors, too. I really love it when a room is naturally bright and breezy-looking.
