Description
Baby Cason's fishing nursery
Design Inspiration
As soon as we heard our first baby was going to be a boy we knew we had to do a fishing themed nursery in honor of my husbands favorite hobby. I love all things boyish and preppy so I picked plaid bedding and added some nautical touches. We had so much fun picking things out and putting it all together.
Decorating Style
I didn't want anything too "baby." I wanted something he could grow into as he gets older. My husband also really loves it which is awesome.

The Lamp, Glider and the Oars. The fishing poles are also very special because they were my grandfathers.
Advice
Hobby Lobby is the best place to find little accents that can go great in a baby's room that don't seem so baby. And you can catch them 50% off!

Very nice fishing-themed nursery. That lamp looks lovely, and those vintage-looking fishing hooks in a frame, too.
