Red & Turquoise: Not Just for Holiday Decor

With all of this holiday cheer and festive decor, I can’t help but imagine what a holiday nursery might look like! Of course, that isn’t very practical, so instead, let’s just let the colors inspire us! One of my favorite color combinations used for the holidays is red and turquoise—they are bright and happy colors, a bit nostalgic and very on trend.

In this nursery for Della, the red pops off the frosty blue.

The Carey bedding set from Caden Lane has a beautiful combination of colors. Its rich reds, bright turquoise and soothing green provide a twist on a classic color palette.

I love how you can take the red and turquoise colors and make it more girly.

Look how well it works in this nursery for triplets from the PN Gallery!

You can even use it in an eclectic playroom!

Indeed, red and turquoise is such a festive color combination. I find it a rather challenging and risky color theme, too, especially if there are other colors playing a minor role.
