Arrows are one of Project Nursery’s trend predictions for 2014, and although it seems like this trend came out of nowhere, I think it’s here to stay for a while! We are starting to see tribal-inspired nurseries pop up in the project gallery each week, and I love the modern and whimsical feel the little arrows add to the spaces. These pointy prints work well in so many different facets of room design—here are some of my favorite ways to incorporate arrows in the nursery.
Arrows are a neutral pattern and can be used in many different ways for either a boy or a girl. I love how this arrow wall decal resembles stripes but has a retro feel to it.
This sweet nursery from the project gallery perfectly combines the arrow trend with a sweet and neutral palette. I love how the designer hung vintage arrows on the wall and personalized it with painted stripes to match her decor.
If you aren’t crazy about the actual arrow symbol, I love how this nursery has a similar geometric print on the wall. It’s not really chevron, and it’s not really arrows—perhaps it’s the perfect in-between? And that coral dresser—gasp! Nursery perfection!

For smaller accents, I love cute prints that are designed with arrow graphics, like this Be Brave print that would be cute for a boy’s or girl’s room!
If you truly can’t get enough of this new nursery design trend, bring in the pointy print with fabrics, like this arrow baby bedding that comes in coral, mint or navy!
Did you use arrows in your little one’s space? Did you make a bold statement with the popular symbol, or did you add arrow accents in a more subtle way?

I’m planning to decorate our 3rd baby’s room in an arrow theme based on Psalm 127:4 We find out girl or boy on Monday thanks for the gender neutral inspiration!

Wow. I love the new trend! I was thinking of a Lion King theme or a Peter Rabbit theme but now I really can’t make up my mind! Decisions, decisions!
