DIY Glitter Animals

These glitter animals are so easy to make, and they add such a glam pop to your kids’ bookshelves. The greatest product to hit the market lately, in my opinion, is Rustoleum’s glitter spray paint. I am so in love with this stuff and thought it would be fun to use on some accessory decor like these DIY glitter animals.

DIY Glitter Animals

All you need to start are some fun items to spray! These little wild animals came from the dollar bins at Target. Pick up some base white paint and your Rustoleum glitter spray paint, and you’re all set.

First wipe all dust/dirt with a cloth. Next spray a white (or any solid color) base coat.

I used three coats, letting it dry for twenty minutes in between each coat.

Once the last coat is dry, spray on two coats of glitter spray (or until coated to the desired effect), and voila!

The cutest bookshelf accessory ever!

What happens if you don’t “pre-coat” it with white paint?
