A few weeks ago, we gave away an eDesign from Little Crown Interiors to one lucky Project Nursery reader. Her name is Audrea, and today, we’re proud to share the details of her design… Because she’s due in June, we got right to work helping her create a beautiful Nautical Theme nursery for her son. First step, a custom floor plan to help her see how to safely place her furniture.
Audrea wanted a nautical theme nursery, so we thought it would be fun to go with an unconventional color-scheme to create a fresh take on this ever-popular theme. Then, we put our best suggestions together in a rendering, so she could really get a feel for how it would look when completed.
The design features gorgeous bedding and accessories from a long-time favorite of ours: Carousel Designs.
The beautiful nautical rug is a centerpiece of the room, and serves as an anchor for both the nautical theme and the color palette (yes, the pun is intended).
How cute are these accent pieces? A double duty storage/ stool from Authentic Models and adorable wall hooks from Twelve Timbers.
Fun wall shelves from Land of Nod round out the design…
