Party Reveal: Get Your Dig On Dinosaur Party!

Little boys love to dig, and what better theme than a dinosaur party for them to get their dig on! We recently designed a preppy version for a sweet vendor of ours Michelle of Sweet Threads Clothing Co. and her little man, Reid. Wide stripes and tone-on-tone polka dots set the stage for this classic theme.

I love simple DIY cakes. A store bought cake is the least expensive way to go and can be dressed up in so many ways. Michelle added a ribbon around the base and a dino toy as a cake topper. Easy!

Mason jars were decorated with printable coordinating party wraps and stripey straws to tie in to the party decor.

Lime-green jello and fruit snack cups were among the offered treats, as well as yummy cupcakes—a little something for all!

A little goes a long way. Just a few personalized party items are needed to add a little attention to detail. These darling cups have the party guests’ names on them and are a great inexpensive gift for the party-goers.

So who else is ready to get their dig on besides little Reid?

I think a dinosaur theme will always be a sure-fire hit among boys. I have yet to meet a little guy who doesn’t love dinosaurs.

Yeah, airconditioned, I somewhat agree. Maybe that’s one reason why little tots adore Barney! LOL.
