The Murphy Bunk Bed

Have you always wanted a bunkbed in your home but didn’t think you had the space? Well think again! The Lollipop Bunk Bed Unit by Bonbon is a fold-away, murphy bunk bed. It’s a great solution for a shared office/guest room or a basement playroom.

Granted, it might run you over $5000 since it ships from the UK, but it is still an innovative design worth sharing!

Wow, $5000 is too steep. But I agree, space-saving solutions like this are really cool.

Are beds like this easy to replicate? Are the materials needed to fold them away readily available?

Very cool. They also have the Lollidesk study bed/desk bed. Very practical and convenient for limited spaces.

It really seems that space-efficient solutions or space-saving furniture systems are the trend these days. I think they’re really great and I think we can design our own. There are plenty of designs that we can base them from. That’s what I plan to do for my kids’ room.
