“She’s Having A Baby” Event Wrap Up

It was great seeing some of you at the “She’s Having a Baby” event this past weekend in Beverly Hills. The entire day was a huge success, one we could not have accomplished without the help of our amazing team. Before we share all the juicy details with you we must take some time to worship Team PN.

And now on to those sponsors that helped make it all possible! Our booth, which featured a standout lavender and white themed dessert bar, was jumping with activity. JJ Cole products were plentiful. We snagged a couple to double as giveaway entry holders since they were on a break from doing diaper caddy duty. The first 75 attendees went home with blik’s Wee Gallery wall decals. What a way to kick off the event!

Kim of  The TomKat Studio sketched this lovely dessert bar layout. We were thrilled at the chance to make it come to life with the help of her sophisticated paper party goods.

And no party would be complete without one of her infamous DIY printable cupcake toppers! Thankfully Kim did the DIY part for us so all we had to do was pop them on the cupcakes and voila. We can’t forget to acknowledge the supporting role played  by cupcakes created by Angela of Queen of Tarts Cakes. Gorgeous and delicious!

Of course, Angela didn’t stop there and made her one of a kind cookies to match the lavender damask theme created by Kim. And damask inspired by non other than a fan favorite – Annette Tatum’s  Orchid Brocade bedding.

Time was well spent fighting people off from touching these awesome oreo cookies created by Sweeties by Kim. Who could blame them? And who knew oreo cookies could be so darn pretty?

More eye-candy!

Jaclyne from Heavenly Blooms was kind enough to drop off flowers after a busy day of weddings. She added the perfect finishing touch to the dessert table.

With all this prettiness it was important to add a more modern gender-neutral option suitable for boys. In comes Kelly from The Party Dress. This well-heeled hostess helped us show how an inspiration board can easily come to life. She created the design for the perfect spring themed birthday party and then provided a real life table setting. Everyone loved the fun, fresh style.

And our booth wouldn’t have been complete with out some serious loot to giveaway. Annie from Bloume Baby , a website offering organic baby products and gifts, generously donated two packed gift baskets. The winners can now enjoy some of Bloume Baby’s best sellers like Sophie the Giraffe, Erbaviva bath products and even a Dwell Studio animal pillow. Photographer Liz of Life Iz Photography shared her portfolio and best of all, her time by offering two winning families free photo sessions!

Project Nursery’s own Rebecca made her Fresh Chick Design Studio debut with a 24×24 canvas art piece! The lavender and white feminine canvas art got a lot of “oohs and aahs”.

We here honored (and slightly relieved) that Newport Cottages owner Pocket came by to assemble the grand prize himself, a stunning white crib from their Cape Cod Collection, valued at $1250. How lucky was this winner!

Of course there were no losers either. We were delighted to spread the Project Nursery name by handing out eco-friendly mini totes filled with valuable coupons from all of our sponsors and new friends!

Thank You, Merci, Gracias, Danke, Gratzie! We could not have pulled off such a successful event without all our your dedication and hard work. Can’t wait to see you all at the next event!
