As we waited for our fall baby, all we could think of was a outdoor baby shower in middle of summer. We wanted to have a fun gathering that included our friends and their families. We had few non cliche games to keep the guys involved. Outdoor venue came up with decoration and logistic challenges, but it all came well together at the end.
Baby Bump, Girl on the way & Stroll in a Park !!
These thoughts were on my mind as we planned our shower. We settled on baby carriage (central theme) and butterfly (most used theme). Color choices were decided to be coral and pink, so that it can pop up on green park setting.
Decorating style was open, light, summery and cognizant to outdoor setting challenges. We used the BBQ grill as base for our banner, we used grill top covered with table cover to display our favors.
Decorations had to be carefully chosen and placed on 30 feet high polls, to protect from wind and other natural disruptions.
