Description
I worked with an existing wall color and started with the main colors of bright blue, magenta and yellow. I wanted the "theme" to be cheerfulness captured through patterns. For the most part the it was a DIY project.

dresser - Was my sister's growing up
bedding and curtains - sewed with my mother, fabric was Heather Bailey Bijoux Tiled Primrose Gold and Gotcha Candy Pink/White
alphabet letters above window - surprise for my shower, each guest made a letter, unfortunately I had a hard time getting a picture of the entire thing.

bookshelf - Ikea - EXPEDIT Shelving unit
hanging light - Ikea - KNAPPA Pendant lamp
numbered prints - Frames and Scrapbook paper from Michael's, I just created my own prints to fit the frames I got at a discount at Micheal's. However, the etsy store justbunch was my inspiration
side table - purchased off craigslist and repainted

I love your room! I especially love the rug and appreciate your posting where you got it. Do you mind telling me, is the turquoise color accurately shown in your picture? And is the rug background white or ivory/off-white? I figured you could give me a far better description than the website does. THANK YOU!
