Description
Sandy Walker and Kelsey Walker of In Awe Weddings and events planned this baby shower for a close family friend, Stephanie. It was held at Troon Country Club. We had beach-themed buffet including hamburgers and hot dogs.
Design Inspiration
Stephanie loves visiting the beach, so we used this as our design inspiration.
Decorating Style
We used a lot of ocean blues and oranges. It was bright, modern, and fun. We created the centerpieces using mosaic jars and orchids. We varied the centerpieces by filling large glass jars with seashells. We placed seashells and starfish on the tables with votive candles. The tables had white floor length linens with blue overlays and green napkins.
Project Details
The favors were hung on the back of the chairs. We found little beach bags from Oriental Trading and filled them with goodies including a bottle of water with a custom label, custom lip balm from Beau-Coup.com, notecards from Flossy Stylish Design, and beach-themed candy. The invitations were custom made by Flossy Stylish Design and included a whale punch from Martha Stewart, and a special guest book was made to match.

Advice
We re-used wedding items that we had in stock. Linens make a huge difference and look great when they are floor length. Make your flowers go further by floating one in a glass.
