Design Inspiration
We were going to do a sewing themed room. It became more about patterns of fabric than sewing. Paisley rocks.

Project Details
The Tree's trunk and branches were designed in illustrator and projected onto the wall. Then painted. Leaves are different fabric patterns. Her name is made from foam letters found at a craft store with the same patterned fabric glued to them.
Favorite Items
The Tree probably is my favorite. It turned out exactly as I imagined it. In hindsight I might have given all of the leaves a curve to mimic a Paisley pattern.
Advice
Save money, DIY. It's way more rewarding to do the work than throw up a vinyl decal from a can.

I like the colors. And the different patterns on different fabric are a great idea. I also like the idea of the clothesline with wooden clips displaying cards and photos and other stuff.

The tree looks like a wall decal, but I am sure it looks really interesting in actual, especially with the fabric leaves providing a different texture. Nice room.
