Whether you live in a small urban apartment and are low on space or a big suburban home and just don’t want to see baby gear around every corner, there are smaller options available that still bring you all the functionality you need. Check out these four pieces of tiny baby gear that will save you space but still give you the features you want and need.
The Pockit by GB is the 2014 Guinness World Records™ holder for being the most compact stroller. While this stroller features an ultra-compact fold that will fit into a backpack or the overhead bin, it offers many of the same features as its much larger competitors. The Pockit can be used for children from six months all the way up to 55 pounds, and the storage basket can hold up to 11 pounds of gear. When it’s folded, there is a self-standing option, and to fold or unfold this stroller is surprisingly simple. The wheels may be small but they swivel, so the Pockit is super easy to maneuver, even one-handed, and you can lock the tires for stability if desired. ($249.99 from GB)
BabyBjörn recently launched the mini version of its popular bouncer, and even though it’s small on size, it’s big on features. The Bouncer Mini is perfect for a newborn baby up to 20 pounds thanks to two height positions. There are no batteries, the fabric is machine washable and there is a separate toy bar available. One of the best features of the BabyBjörn Bouncer Mini is that it is easy to move and the legs easily detach so you can quickly tuck this away when not in use. ($129.95 from BabyBjörn)
Bathtubs for babies can often be big and hard to hide away, but with the Puj Flyte, not only can you get it out of the way after each use, but it is small enough to fit in your suitcase to take along when you travel with baby. Designed for babies 0-6 months, the Flyte is a smaller version of the popular Puj Tub, but you still get features like a shape that cradles baby, a material that dries quickly and is mildew resistant, and a tub that goes right from your sink to hanging flat on the wall. ($34.99 from Puj)
The Project Nursery 5″ High Definition Baby Monitor System not only includes features like long range, extended battery life and a room temperature sensor, but it also includes the world’s smallest 1.5″ audio and video mini monitor! Being able to slip this mini monitor in your pocket or clip it to your belt and move around the house while knowing you can still get the same or better features as a much larger monitor is literally a dream. The remote pan and zoom works smoothly and seamlessly, and the two-way intercom lets your baby hear your voice clearly. ($299.99 from The Project Nursery Shop)

I love the babybjorn Mini its a really practical solution when space is at a premium. It’s also worthwhile taking a look at the Chicco Pocket relax bouncer. It too is really lightweight and folds completely flat but has the added bonus it can act as a rocker as well as a bouncer.
