14K Baby: Gold in the Nursery

For centuries, gold has been one of the most valued precious metals for jewelry and decor, but these days, you don’t have to be a king or queen to enjoy the luxurious hue. Now, don’t stress, I’m not suggesting you start saving up for 14 karat gold nursery accessories, but I do suggest you look into some of these metallic options for your nursery decor.

The best part? This fancy-pants hue is gender neutral, so dress it up or modernize it. We can’t wait to see what you come up with. I’m obsessing over this Gold Confetti Canopy—how adorable would this be in the corner of the nursery or even in a play room!

Personalize it! Add the baby’s monogram to one of these gold monogram pillows for the glider or for a stack of floor pillows. (One for my room too please!)

The gold monogrammed pillows are gorgeous. Perfectly for a stately room.

The monogrammed pillows are lovely. That unicorn head wall mount just looks so fake and lightweight. It looks like a cheap Papier Mâché sprayed with gold paint.

Frauline, check the link for that unicorn head and it is really papier mache! But so expensive! An overpriced papier mache at that.

Gold for me is grand and luxurious. With a very small space, I feel like I don’t have the right to use gold :-( And I don’t think gold looks good with other DIY and handmade decor I have.

Maybe it’s coated with real gold!
