As nursery designers, we spend a lot of time researching the best new designs for cribs, gliders and nursery decor, but babies and kids definitely don’t stay in their rooms all day long. They spread themselves throughout every room in the house, including the kitchen. We’ve been seeing pretty plates for kids and even some plate wall displays around lately that are a refreshing new take on juvenile dishware.
These unbelievably charming designs are from Smiling Planet, a company whose products are art-inspired, earth friendly and BPA-free. The Blue Dragon design is the perfect set for a little boy, while the pretty Pink Peace set is great for a little animal lover.

I always have this compulsion so use anything I find really beautiful as decorative items instead of their intended function. That includes plates.
