DIY: Reupholster Your Nursery Chair

I’ve been oohing and aahing over the amazing work that Ashley, from Make It & Love It, did reupholstering the chair in her daughter’s nursery. See how she took her thrift store chair find from this…

…to this.

Since every chair is different, Ashley shows us step-by-step how she disassembled the chair piece by piece in order to recreate it in this gorgeous white, textured fabric in her extremely detailed photos and tutorial. If you have your heart set on a custom chair for your nursery, this is a great way to get the look without breaking the bank. Are you brave enough to try it?

I’ve scanned the pictures of the tutorial and it looks a lot of work! I wonder how long everything took her.

Yeah, I know… looks like you’ll be needing tons of patience with the measuring, the cutting, the pinning and everything else.
