What little girl doesn’t love butterflies? These tiny creatures are so feminine and serene they seem magical. Whether they are soft and sweet or bold and bright, butterflies have become a popular addition to the baby girl nursery. We think creating a nursery with a butterfly theme is not only versatile but also a perfect way to bring a calm and fresh feeling to the room.
We often suggest finding inspiration before you begin the design process and bedding is a great place to start. We especially like the “Beautiful Butterfly” crib bedding collection by NoJo. The sweet fluttering butterflies in shades of lavender, deep purple, aqua and lime provide a serene color palette to inspire the entire room’s design.

I absolutely love the NoJo Plum Dandy collection. It’s so difficult to find baby girl items that aren’t pink these days. I love that the primary color is purple and I can also blend in some blue and silver accents!!!

I love the NOJO Pop Petals the best because it’s colorful, fun, and bright without being loud. It also makes good use of orange, which I think could/should be played up. If you look at most pictures on the internet of people using the set, they play too much to the pink but the strength of the set is that it has a nice range of colors. Many nurseries end up playing on one or two colors, or go overboard with more than 5. This set hits the right balance.
