Owls continue to be all the rage in children’s decor. Their over-sized eyes make them so cute and approachable. I saw this adorable Owl Table Lamp at West Elm last week and thought that it would be great for a boy’s room with a more natural/outdoors/rustic design.
Then, literally, a few hours later, I was shopping in Target and saw a very similar owl lamp design for a fraction of the price.
Both are made of cast resin and have textured lamp shades. Which do you prefer or would price be your guide on this one?

The owl on the first lamp looks nicer. But, of course, I would never pay for what it costs if I know there’s this much cheaper one that looks almost identical.

They look equally nice to me, but I’d buy the less pricey one.

Have you see other designs for this kind of lamp? Maybe another animal other than an owl?

If money was out of the question, I’d go for the more expensive lamp. I honestly think it looks better than the cheaper one. Maybe it’s the owl’s eyes :)

Even if they were of the same price, I think that I will still go for the Target lamp! I would get rid of the cord trimming though.
