Back to School with Pottery Barn Kids

It’s that time again. Summer break is coming to a close, and kids are gearing up for back-to-school. Here is the latest peek into a few creative and entertaining ideas we showcased at Pottery Barn Kids. We are so loving the Tribeca Desk & Hutch, one of PBK’s new desks that we used to set up our little party.

Host an afterschool craft party and serve up some school-themed treats!

Here is a fabulous cake (via Inspired Occasions) adorned with letters, numbers and a ruler complete with a DIY pencil cake stand and an apple printable cake topper.

The cake stand was made using a styrofoam cylinder with pencils hot glued to it, topped with patterned paper. Keep math skills sharp with some flashcard cookies (via Casey’s Confections)!

A back-to-school party would be a neat idea. It would be a great way to kick off the school season and get the kids excited to go to school again.

Love this! Maybe I can do this next year and really prepare for it. Love those cookies, too. They look so simple and easy to do, and totally into the theme.
