My son had a crocheted peach colored blanket made by a friend. It had tassles on the end. He dragged that thing everywhere for years, until I had to cut it down to a smaller, more manageable size. In my case my youngest daughter can´t sleep without her “blanket”, it´s a problem to wash it because she misses it!! Not to mention if she sees it inside the washing machine!!! I wanted to cut it in half and make two so I can always have one around (it was a present and I can´t find out where it was bought) but I´ve been told she might not want it again if it´s smaller… who knows!

The Little Giraffe’s are gorgeous. How special was/ismy daughter’s blankie? Well, it’s name is Ticky. When she was 3, we made the rule that Ticky had to stay in her bedroom (after she tripped over him and fell down the stairs).
When she was 7, her dad asked what she was going to do with Ticky when she got married and her husband didn’t like him. “I’ll marry someone who does.” Until we recently had houseguests who needed to use her bed, Ticky remained under her pillow….and she is now TWENTY FOUR!!!!

These look like the softest blankets around. That’s so important for babies. My son had a little Fisher Price bunny blanket that he loved to cuddle with at night. He didn’t keep it for too long though. My kids were both not “blankie” babies.

I have purchased a Little Giraffe blanket as a gift before and love them. I love the Retro 60s Blossom Blanket.
They are perfect and important to keep the cold winter wind away by placing the blanket over the stroller when shopping or running errands. So great!!!

There is nothing more precious than your little ones favorite “blankie”. My daughters was a cream blanket attached to a lamb stuffed animal, which she called “Baby”. Baby went everywhere with us and somehow had the power to make everything allright! My daughter is now 13 years old and Baby still sits center stage on her bed!

Heavens LG is too soft looking… I have a thing for blankets so looking AND being soft is a must… My son’s lovey has been everywhere and he use to refuse to sleep without it. Now he is a little better about it but still gets upset if it is in the dryer at bed time. In fact, he READS stories to it at night time to help it sleep. Yes blankets and loveys are very important…

My oldest daughter inherited a quilt my grandma made me, and named it her “bitty”. She carried that old quilt around until it was tatters and she was around 8. We still have it, but its too worn to use on my new baby.

My son’s blankie is named Silky. I tried to get him a tan colored Silky for backup but he didn’t like it as much. Two weeks ago it was nap time and I asked my husband to find White Silky for us because I could only find Brown Silky.
