Love it or hate it, holiday card season is in game-on mode. We absolutely love receiving personal and special cards from our friends and family every year, but the holiday card journey can be code-red level stressful. Let’s review for a sec. There’s the outfit selection and purchasing process complete with strategic coordination for the family (also see: late-night online shopping plus multiple Target runs for the just in case stuff), photo location scouting (can’t we just use the front porch again like last year?), finding and communicating with the photographer (no less than 25 emails and 6 possible time slots later, you nail it) and don’t get us started on the actual “day of” shooting with the fam (insert advil ad here). Point is, moms, we feel you!
Okay, here’s the one thing you must know. Once you get this far, the easy part begins thanks to those magical card angels at Minted. Seriously, from start to finish, Minted’s selection of holiday cards, designed by independent artists is THE BEST out there. Many of us have personally relied on Minted every year for our own cards here at Project Nursery.
It’s the Minted design process that really stands out. We’re obsessed with their FIND IT FAST feature, which lets you upload your photos and easily view them in hundreds of designs instantly with just one click. But, that’s not all. This year, they rolled out a total game changer with their TEXT US YOUR PHOTO free service. You just text them a pic, and they send you five holiday card options with your personal photo specifically in mind. Now, if that’s not a total #momhack than we don’t know what is!
