3 Adorably Designed Diaper Changing Stations + Organization Hacks

Your crib sheet collection is strong, and your glider is perfectly accessorized with an adorable pillow, but how is your diaper changing station? You know, the area that you will frequent upwards of ten times a day in the early months? It has to be properly stocked with plenty of diapers and your go-to wipes must be within arms’ reach.

Stocking up on these essentials in bulk makes so much sense so you never run out—especially mid-wipe—but making it all fit and keeping it organized can be a challenge. Even though this part of your nursery is pretty much purely operative, it can also be cute! Pulling inspiration from the adorable designs on the new Pampers Pure collection available at Boxed, we created three stations that put the fun in function (had to), and show you how to organize bulk diapers and wipes in any room.

Hugs and kisses! This Pampers Pure diaper is all about love thanks to their dedication to sustainable, plant-based and other thoughtfully selected materials with no parabens, fragrances or natural rubber latex. The sweet X’s and O’s adorning this design are accompanied by tiny hearts that are subtle but super sweet. To create this diaper changing station, I added a wooden XOXO decorative piece from the wood crafts aisle of my local craft store to a simple rustic box. A quick coat of colorful and coordinating paint is all it took to make a box that holds plenty of diapers and stays on theme.

The DIY hi and xoxo container above is a cute addition to hold cotton rounds and other essentials. I simply recreated the diaper’s design with craft paints and a felt-tipped black marker to create a custom container that coordinates with this design. Also, the “hi, I love you” is a nice visual reminder when you’re hit in the face with a majorly messy diaper.

Speaking of faces, the Pampers Pure size 4 diapers come in a crazy cute face design. This is by far my favorite print, and it doesn’t hurt that it is 100% on trend right now. To create this diaper holder, I used fabric markers and paint to decorate a blank canvas tote, which is the perfect container for storing lots of diapers. P.S. I got so into the idea of DIY canvas bins that I made that mini polka-dotted version, too!

To turn a canvas tote into a freestanding bin, choose a bag made of sturdy fabric, cut off the handles, fold the top down twice (inward or outward), place a rectangular or oval piece of cardboard in the bottom and tuck in the bottom corners. Easy!

I know I said the Pampers Pure diaper with the face design was my favorite, but can I have two favorites? Because this cutie house and cloud design is purely precious. Clouds are a fun theme for a nursery because they have a great graphic quality that keeps them clean and modern while still being cutesy for bitty babies. This cloud shelf is intended for the wall but works well seated atop our dresser as well. The high cloud-shaped edge keeps the diapers standing upright and there is space on the side for your favorite creams.

To complement the clouds, I wanted to highlight the houses found on the diaper design as well. The wood crafts aisle in my hobby store happened to have a wooden cutout of a house that fits perfectly on this mint wooden box. My felt-tipped pen and craft paints were all it took to give this box tons of cute character.

Who knew so much inspiration could come from diaper designs? Creating a functional diaper changing station that blends in with your nursery design theme is as easy as finding a few customizable containers. Think outside the box when looking for your containers. Bins, baskets and bowls are easy to decorate with markers and paint, making it easy to create personalized organization systems.

So where are you going to keep your abundant stash of Pampers Pure from Boxed? I pack my daughter’s nursery closet to the brim. Utilizing every inch from top to bottom. We squeeze extra diapers and wipes into nooks, shelves and drawers. This customizable multi-drawer system is the same depth as the closet, which means we aren’t wasting an inch. It holds so much, we have one in every closet of the house! Remember, just because it’s in a closet, doesn’t mean it has to be clothing! Use your space!

Fumbling with opening boxes of diapers and wipes is no fun at all, and you always tend to run out at the most inopportune times. Instead keep packages of wipes ready to go and out of their shipping box by organizing them in a basket that is easily accessible. Use Boxed to keep your basket full at all times and make grabbing a new pack of wipes for the diaper bag, car, or changing station quick and easy. Also, line up your current diaper sleeve in a spot that is super easy to access. Since not all tabletop storage solutions will hold the full number of diapers that come in a sleeve, we keep the extras on an open shelf.

When you get to the extra squirmy stage of diaper changing, dedicate a top drawer of your dresser or changing table to a row of diapers and a package of wipes. This keeps the tabletop clear of distractions or potential projectiles. Toddler moms understand. But since we created such adorable diaper changing organization baskets and bins, they can be moved around the room or onto bookcases to hold keepsakes, books, smaller toys and more!

New moms and moms-to-be, do yourself a favor and go ahead and get set up with Boxed to avoid the hassle that is shopping with a newborn. Believe me, infant car seats and big boxes of diapers just don’t fit in a shopping cart at the same time. When picking out diapers for your newborn, take the advice of veteran moms and look into trusted and dependable Pampers. Their product is top notch, and their newest Pampers Pure Collection is designed to give parents another option when choosing the diaper that they believe fits best with their lifestyle. This line is comparable to other higher-priced diaper lines thanks to their pure origins, materials and protection. We care so much about what we put on baby’s skin and into their bodies, their diaper should be held at the same high standards. Shop Pampers Pure diapers and wipes at Boxed here.
