These DIY Easter Egg Balloons will Delight Your Little Bunnies

When I was thinking of fun ideas for our kids’ table for Easter, the similarity between the shape of Easter eggs and balloons, along with the ever-popular balloon garland trend, gave me the idea of creating a fun oversized Easter Egg table runner. This DIY Easter egg balloon table runner requires only balloons, paint and tape, making it a super simple project that still makes a major impact.

Inflate balloons in your preferred Easter colors. Flip the balloon over so it looks like an egg shape, use your paintbrush and craft paint to paint your favorite Easter egg designs on them. Use enough paint to get even coverage, without it being too thick. Use masking tape to attach painted balloons onto your table and allow them to dry.

Once the balloons are dry, use the masking tape to line the larger balloons in the center of your table and surround them with the smaller balloons.

Most of us couldn’t help but notice that balloons have a very similar shape to eggs, just upside down! And who knew with just a bit of barely-there clear tape you could turn these giant “eggs” right side up and, with a little paint, have yourself some Easter egg balloons.

very cool way. appreciate that. :).
