It’s a Wrap! Newborn Swaddles that are Camera-Ready.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a sucker for a soft baby blanket. I remember my stash of baby blankets overflowing from the drawer(s) I kept them in with each one of my kiddos. Thank goodness newborn swaddles had limited choices a few years ago, because I’m not sure I could have controlled my spending if I had to pick from all the ridiculously soft bamboo sets, bright cotton prints or funny sayings that are out there these days! Swaddle blankets seem to come in all shapes and sizes, and whether you are stocking up on your favorite bamboo swaddles or gifting a newborn set, there’s no question that EVERY SINGLE ONE is a must-have for baby—especially when they can be used in so many ways!

Swaddles have always come in handy with their lightweight appeal and large size (I know I never left the house without at least one stuffed into my diaper bag), but the latest trend seems to be using them as props in newborn photography, and I have to admit—as cute as a naked baby bum is, these wraps have me wishing I could re-shoot my kiddos in these creative ways!

We recently added a collection of newborn swaddle sets that work perfectly either as hospital take-me-home sets or to add a pop of color in a newborn photoshoot! So go ahead and wrap up that naked little booty—these super soft knit blankets will be your favorite go-to in gorgeous geometric and floral prints. Each set comes with a knot headband and a hat!

Printed blankets, like this organic swaddle, double as photo props and super soft swaddle blankets. The watercolor trend is going strong this fall, and who say’s there aren’t any cute things for baby boys? This precious blanket has me dreaming in blue for sure!

Personalized blankets have been trending for a while now, and I mean, hello—when it’s as cute as this arrow baby blanket with your favorite name in the world printed all over it, good luck not ordering multiples! I couldn’t agree more that this little bundle of cuteness is definitely swoon-worthy.

Not just for newborn pictures, this monthly milestone swaddle is a creative way to document each month in the first year of your baby’s life! I love the idea of adding your baby’s favorite toys to the pictures or using a creative prop—like these wooden cars—to highlight how many months have passed by.
