This modern lime green nursery is particularly special to us because it was designed for a very good friend. She and her husband wanted to create a fresh and modern space for their new baby girl. They came to us knowing that they wanted the room to include fun, patterned wallpaper, modern nursery furniture and a unique alternative to the standard nursery glider.
We started with the color scheme—our friends knew they wanted lime green accents in the space, so we paired the vibrant color with white, gray and wood tones. The room is on the smaller side, so we wanted to keep the number of colors to a minimum so as not to overwhelm the space.
We’ve been huge fans of Netto Collection’s “Louis” nursery furniture for years, and although it was discontinued, we were able to find a crib and changing table just in time! The mid-century modern furniture is absolutely stunning in this nursery with its clean lines and curves and its unique combination of shiny white lacquer and soft wood stain.
The spunky, floral wallpaper was chosen by our friends, and it is so much fun on the accent wall. We went with simple artwork since the wallpaper is such a strong design statement. The white wood wall heart adds a touch of sweetness right above the crib. Because they didn’t want a traditional glider, we chose a classic Eames lounge chair instead, which fits perfectly in the space.
Simple crib bedding, a neutral, patterned rug and a colorful throw pillow round out the space (along with baby’s new watchdog, of course). We’re so thrilled at how this modern lime green nursery turned out, and it was so special to work on the space with such dear friends. Check out more photos of the space here.

Beautiful room! It’s got to be one of my favorites you’ve ever featured. Cute dog too. :)
