Party Reveal: Baby Elephant Baby Shower

One of my favorite things to plan is a baby shower, so when a client asked me to plan an elephant baby shower, I was super excited! She already had the colors of her nursery picked out in a pink and turquoise theme, and we just popped in shades of grey to give it a modern feel.

Elephant Baby Shower Dessert Table Pink Turquoise

I added a ruffled table skirt to make the dessert table girly and hung a crepe paper backdrop with strands of turquoise peanuts on either side of a blown-up graphic of the party decorations.

Everything from the paper party decorations to the cookies had our sweet little elephant on them.

Little muslin bags of peanuts were given to each guest labeled with “Peanuts for making the day special for my Peanut.”

Elephant Baby Shower Goodie Bags

Baby wishes are becoming a hot trend at baby showers, and we had fun with this one! My client came up with each line, and I had them printed on luxe paper to go in a special binder for a sweet keepsake for baby later in life.

Cute little muslin bags. What kind of peanuts did you put inside the bags? Raw peanuts?
