Party Reveal: Call Me Maybe Valentine’s Party

Last weekend we celebrated Valentine’s Day a little early and threw a party for some of my daughter’s close friends. I love the song “Call Me Maybe” by Carley Rae Jepsen and thought it would be fun to plan a party around it with some classic twists. I recruited the fabulous Mariah of Giggles Galore to help style and plan the perfect activities for our little love bugs!

I love aqua and hot pink together and decided that was the perfect color scheme mixed with touches of gold. The party printable decorations—silhouettes of gold phones and “Call Me Maybe” and “Hello” signs—complemented the overall look of the party.

Fun yummy desserts were a hit with the kids of course! Their favorite was the “hello” cake pops by Goods By kCreative. Her new chipotle flavor was so tasty with a little kick.

Edible Details created the most amazing fondant cupcake toppers with little gold phones and oversized swirl pops. Talk about some drama!

The girls played dress up in Lauren’s closet and tried on tutus and headbands to match each other.

The kids had a blast calling each other on the vintage phones we had spray painted.

Mariah from Giggles Galore taught them to play the telephone game, and we all got good laughs out of what they thought was originally said.

Cans were spray painted in hot pink and turquoise and attached together with string. Do you remember playing with those as kids? It was so much fun for them to hear each other loud and clear!

And, of course, we played our favorite song for the kids to dance around, too. We had such a great time with our little loves!
