Design Reveal: Girls Gone Global

This nursery was designed for a client of mine in Hermosa Beach, CA. The client has a modern home and wanted something clean and crisp for her second daughter’s nursery. She already had all of the furniture from her first child, so we just had to update the space with decor and bedding. The globe-trotting wallpaper was the initial inspiration for the room. We both loved it and had to use it.

From there, we picked a bright and playful fabric for the windows and made the panels more whimsical with beaded trim. To keep the room from being too simple with just pink and white, we added a hint of turquoise with the custom bedding and accessories.

Here is a look at the color inspiration from Design Seeds. Design Seeds is a great resource for color inspiration taken from beautiful photographs of nature.

yes, the wallpaper’s really gorgeous. But I got my eyes on the handprint and footprint plaque or plate. I’d love to see a close-up of that.

That monogrammed bumper is beyond! We’d love some information about the vendor.

Yes the wallpaper comes in a neutral, black and blue color wave. The bumper is by New Arrivals Inc. and ceramic handprint is from a local vendor.
