ABC Kids Expo Sneak Peek

Just back from a fun filled two days in sunny Las Vegas where we were busy scouting the 2010 ABC Kids Expo for the best new finds. We had heard the rumors flying that there would be dazzling new furniture designs for the nursery and kid spaces so let’s just say, we were not disappointed. Style was on full display at the show and many gorgeous designs caught our eye. We will be featuring many of these fun finds in upcoming posts but here is just a small sampling of what stood out.

Gray and purple were definitely the hot colors and we saw lots of chairs, cribs and bedding in these hues. Glamour and sophistication were also big trends as well as organic, eco-conscious and Made In America!

And I can’t forget to give a special thank you to our amazing husbands who held down the home fronts so that we could sneak away from the families to attend the show and oh yeah, have a wee bit of fun too. Now its back to packing school lunches, grocery shopping and wiping spit up off the floor. Stay tuned for more details, photos and even exclusive video interviews from the show.

I actually let out a girlish squeal when I saw that new acrylic crib from Nurseryworks! We have been waiting so long for someone to finally create a crib like this and can’t wait for the perfect nursery to place it in.

Thanks for the inspiration. A friend of mine made a simple winding pattern on her child’s nursery walls. It was really quaint. Now I wish that I could have taken a picture of it!
